My Son’s a Queer (But What Can You Do?) is the joyous autobiographical story of social-media sensation Rob Madge. First produced at the Turbine Theatre in 2021, the show was Awarded Best Off-West End Production 2022 by WhatsOnStage. After a sell-out run in Edinburgh in August 2022, the show was announced to be transferring to the West End and had its first run at the Garrick Theatre for a limited run in Oct/Nov 2022, followed by a further run at the Ambassador’s Theatre Feb/March 2023. The show has been nominated for the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play 2023. This Original Cast Recording includes We Will Be Loved Anyway, performed with nine amazing guest singers, extended monologues from the show plus a bonus track of Granny Grimble’s Yellow Dress.
